Buisman - Bente marriage - 1956.

Miss Mary Trese Bente, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bente, and Wm. R. Buisman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Buisman, all of Elkader, exchanged nuptial vows, Sunday, in the Peace E. & R. church at Elkader. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated.

The bride attended Iowa Wesleyan college, Mt. Pleasant, where she was a member of Zeta Tau social sorority. Mr. Buisman is a graduate of the Guttenberg high school and is employed by the J. C. Costigan construction company.

The new couple will make their home at 600 1/2 Plum St. N.E. in Elkader.
