Rast - Glock marriage - 1956

RAST, GLOCK, THORSGARD

The marriage of Miss Rosalie Glock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Glock of Elkader, and Herman Rast, son of Mrs. Marie Rast and the late Frederic Rast of Fayette, was solemnized Sunday at Our Redeemer Lutheran church. The Rev. H. Frohn officiated. Mrs. Elmer Thorsgard of Rockford, Ill., sister of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Mrs. Erwin Glock, sister-in-law of the bride, was bridesmaid. Dona Glock of Calmar, and Rosemary Thorsgard of Rockford, Ill., nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.

The bride is a graduate of Elkader high school, and the groom attended the West Union schools. He is presently employed by George Behn. The new couple will be at home on a farm south of Elkader.
