Miss Margie Joan Buisman and Richard E. Knutson exchanged marriage vows, Sunday, in St. John's Lutheran church, Guttenberg, Miss Buisman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Buisman of Elkader, and Mr. Knutson is the son of the E. C. Knutson's of Westby, Wis. The Rev. E. W. Kramer officiated. Miss Mary Jo Colvin served as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mary Trese Bente, Sally Anderson, and the groom's sister, Kay Knutson. Wm. Buisman Jr., brother of the bride, was best man, and the groomsman was Curt Cooksey. Ushers were Gale Grimslid and Pierce Brown. Ring bearer and flower girl were Dean Roth and Julie O'Rourk, cousins of the bride.
After a short honeymoon in South Dakota, the couple will return to the bride's home, where they will spend the summer. When school resumes in the fall Mr. Knutson will resume his studies at Luther college and Mrs. Knutson will teach in Canton, Minn., where the new home will be made.
