Breitsprecher - Hansel marriage - 1956

Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Hansel of Mount Vernon, Iowa, announce the marriage of their daughter, Diane Kay, to Roger Lee Breitsprecher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Breitsprecher of Elkader, May 01, 1956, at the Zion Lutheran church, Clayton Center. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen officiated. Mrs. Douglas Behrens, cousin of the bride, sang several selections during the ceremony. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs. Ivan Freitag, and Ivan Freitag, cousin of the groom, was best man. Paul Hansel, brother of the bride, and Leon Hoth, cousin of the groom, seated the guests.

The bride is a 1956 graduate of Elkader high school and is employed in Elkader. The groom graduated from Elkader in 1955 and is now serving in the U.S. Navy.
