Vorwald - Voshell marriage - 1956

At St. Joseph's Catholic church in Elkader Feb. 13, Miss Patricia Voshell became the bride of Lloyd E. Vorwald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Vorwald of McGregor. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Voshell of Elkader. Miss Marlene Bankes, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Mary Vorwald, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Daniel A. Gorman officiated. Harold Vorwald, brother of the groom, was best man, and Arvid Voshell, brother of the bride, was groomsman.

The bride has been a recent employee of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. and the groom is in the armed forces and is stationed near Carrizozo, N.M.

After a brief honeymoon the new couple plan to live in Carrizozo until the groom is released from service.
