The marriage of Rita Marie Krieg, daughter of Harold G. Krieg and the late Mrs. Krieg, and Robert J. Dorgan occurred Saturday, Feb. 11, at Sacred Heart church in Volga. The Rev. J. Klein officiated. Mrs. F. H. Humbert, aunt of the bride, accompanied the vocalist who sang several selections. Miss Wilma Haberkamp of Fairbank was maid of honor, and Miss Mary Lee Krieg of Prairie du Chien, the bride's cousin, was bridesmaid.
The bride graduated from the Volga high school with the class of 1949 and Upper Iowa University at Fayette and attended Iowa State Teachers college at Cedar Falls and the State University of Iowa. She holds a degree in elementary education and is third grade teacher in the Clear Lake Schools. Mr. Dorgan, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dorgan of Cullison, Kansas, was attended by his brothers, Don Dorgan as best man and Charles Dorgan as groomsman. Ushers were David and Allen Krieg, Prairie du Chien, cousins of the bride.
The groom holds a degree in agriculture engineering from Kansas State college and presently is a designing engineer in the John Deere Tractor Plant at Waterloo; where the new couple will live.
