Hamilton - Kramer marriage - 1955

Wedding vows were exchanged, May 30, between Kay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kramer of Garnavillo, and Philip, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hamilton of LaCrosse, Wis. Mr. L. H. Brandt officiated at Gospel Hall at Garnavillo. Assisting her sister as bridesmaid was Leajane Kramer, and Francis Hamilton of Madison, the groom's brother, served as best man.

The bride is a graduate of Garnavillo high school and received her teacher's certificate from the University of Dubuque; she taught a section of the third grade in Manchester this year. The groom has been the commercial teacher at Cassville, Wis., for the past year. He has a Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where the couple will reside this summer while the groom attends the summer session there.
