The Peace Evangelical and Reformed church, Elkader, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Dorothy Seifert and Rollin Possehl. The Rev. Paul Kitter officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Seifert of Elkader, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Possehl of Elkader. Miss Bernadine Seifert, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and flower girl was Sylvia Livingston of Cedar Falls, and ringbearer was Steven Eggimann, nephew of the bride. William Possehl served his brother as best man, and Floyd Possehl, brother of the groom, and Delbert Baars, friend of the couple, were ushers.
A reception for 250 guests was held in the church auditorium, at which Mrs. Elmer Eggimann, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Roger Mork poured. Miss Erma Eggimann and Mrs. Fred Knoke cut the wedding cake. Miss Marlys Frieden, cousin of the groom, was in charge of the guest book.
The bride attended Iowa State Teachers college in Cedar Falls and has been employed at the Central State Bank in Elkader. The groom is employed with Dubuque Packing company at Worthington, where the new couple will make their home.
