The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Mary Baumgartner attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shirley Olson, cousin of the bride, and Geneva Marmann, sister of the groom. Allen Dale Marmann, brother of the groom, served as best man, while Earl Baumgartner, brother of the bride, and Vurnell Marmann, brother of the groom, served as groomsmen. Ushers were Wayne Baumgartner, brother of the bride, and Donald Marmann, brother of the groom. Music for the service was provided by Mrs. Merlin Anderson, cousin of the bride.
At the reception in the church parlors, Mrs. John Palas, sister of the groom, cut the cake, and Miss Eileen Marmann of Manchester table waitressed. The guest book was in charge of Miss Geraldine Marmann of Manchester, cousin of the groom.
A wedding dance at Lakeside ballroom in Guttenberg completed the evening, and after a short wedding trip the new couple will make their home in St. Olaf.
The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school and has for the past months been an employee of the local telephone office in Elkader. Mr. Marmann is employed by the St. Olaf Cooperative.
