Knoke - Erickson marriage - 1953

Miss Sheila Erickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Erickson, of Elgin, was married to Fred Knoke, son of Mrs. Ella Knoke, of Elkader, Saturday at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church, Elkader. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen officiated. The couple were attended by Miss Beverly Miller and Kenneth Knoke, brother of the groom, of Davenport.

The groom is on furlough from the army and will return to Camp Breckinridge, Ken. Both Mr. and Mrs. Knoke are graduates of the Elkader high school. The bride has been employed in Cedar Rapids as a bookkeeper.
