White - Hummel marriage - 1941

VOLGA CITY: The marriage of Edna Hummel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hummel and Wayne White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney J. White, all living east of town, took place at Elkader, Wednesday, Feb. 26; Justice of the Peace George Ehrhardt of Elkader officiated at the courthouse. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ohm, sister and brother-in-law of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of the local high school and the groom also attended the public school.

They are at home on the A. F. Robinson farm where Mr. White has employment.
