Dinan - Smith marriage - 1941

Miss L'Dean Smith, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Smith of this city, and Robert Dinan, son of Mrs. Margaret Dinan of Littleport, were married Saturday in the parsonage at Garber. Rev. J. J. Olinger officiated. The couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dinan.

Mrs. Dinan is a graduate of the Elkader public school and junior college, and for the past four years she has been teaching at Giard and will continue her work until the close of the school year. Mr. Dinan is a graduate of the Littleport high school and has been a successful farmer since his graduation.

The couple will be at home on a farm near Elgin after March 01.
