I realize you posted the question long ago but I just found it while searching family history...you asked about a school with the names Monk(my mother in laws name)Pilquist (the name of the people whos farm we bought) I also went to school with a Broadie and so did my mother in law...we also bought the Rosacker place in freeman county and there was a foundation of the old school house called wild rose..there is a marker on the corner near it. could this be the school you are talking about?
