She was born 1839 Washington County supposedly to Silas Grant. married Joseph Britton 1862 in madison County, altho he may have been from Clay County. He dies Civil War. She married James W Zink 1871 in "Southern Iowa" and they seem to have lived for a while in or around Spencer, Clay County. Family moved to Nebraska about 1880 and seem to have taken a neigboring young man, Coke Ballard with them. Looking for info primarily on the Grant family.
