THOMAS COREY DIES IN NORTH DAKOTA
Funeral of Old Settler to Be Held This Afternoon
Thomas Corey, another of the old settlers of Cedar township has been called from our midst. Mr. Corey died while on a visit to his daughter in North Dakota. The body was brought to Larrabee last evening and taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Hocken, who resides near that place. Funeral services will be held this afternoon.

The deceased came to this county about 1883 or 1884. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Hocken, Mrs. Ernest Bruner of Quimby and Mrs. Hugh Foulka of North Dakota. (Source: The Semi-Weekly Democrat, Thurs., Aug 2, 1917, pg. 2)
