John Wilkne, an old settler of Afton township, died at his home Monday morning at the advanced age of 85 years. He was buried Wednesday in Elk township cemetery. Deceased came to Afton township from Germany twenty-two years ago. He was well known in Aurelia. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Deterick Vring and Mrs. Wm. Honsbrook.
