Commital [sic] Service for Horton Francisco Will be Held at Elmwood

A short committal service will be held Friday forenoon at Elmwood cemetery for Horton Erastus Francisco, 83, a pioneer resident of Mason City who died Monday at his home in Santa Ana, Cal. The body will be taken from the train at 10:45 o'clock and will be taken to the cemetery. The Rev. William H. Spence will be in charge.

Mr. Francisco was one of the youngest soldiers in the Civil war and enlisted when he was only 16 years old. He was one of the youngest me to enlist form here.
