PERRETT, Sarah Hanford BROWN (1836-1905)

5071 SARAH HANFORD BROWN (Harriet N. 2860 , Benjamin 1396, Ichabod 666, Eleazer 226, Eleazer 72, Jeremiah 15, Joseph 4, Edward 1), was born in Hampden, Ohio, April 5, 1836. She married in Antioch, Ill., April 4, 1858, Capt. Joseph Perrett, who was born in Somersetshire, England, Feb. --, 1834, son of John (?) and Charlotte (Newton) Perrett. The early part of Capt. Perrett's life was devoted to sailing, having been a captain on the Great Lakes. The latter part of his life was devoted to farming. He died in Mason City, Iowa, Dec. 3, 1902. Mrs. Perrett died there March 4, 1905.


7636 Fannie Jane, born in Antioch, Ill., Jan 6, 1859, married in Rock Falls, Iowa, June 29, 1886, Franklin B. Gault, who was born in Wooster, Ohio, May 2, 1851, son of Joseph and Caroline Amanda (Zinn) Gault. They reside in Vermillion, S. D., where he is a President of the University of South Dakota. One child, Perrett Franklin, born in Pueblo, Col., Dec. 25, 1887. He is a student in the University of South Dakota.

7637 Mary Elsey, born in Rock Falls, iowa, Aug. 6, 1872.

Sarah's parents were Thomas Brown (1794-1858) and Harriet Newell Jewett (1808-1869).
