Funeral services for Mary Catherine Myren,73, Wilton and formerly of Tipton, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 2 at the Grace United Church of Christ in Wilton with the Rev. Robert Davis Mayo officiating. Debbie Mohr is the organist and pallbearers will be Wally Ray, Bill Lenker, Paul Hain, Sy Klein, Marvin Brady and Ed Stockman. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1 at Sheets and Son Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday, July 2 at the church.

Mrs. Myren died June 27 at Muscatine General Hospital following an extended illness.

The daughter of Hiram T. and Mary C. Rochester Graves, she was born Nov. 13, 1913 in Sioux City. She attended Sioux City East high school, graduating in 1931. She married I. S. Myren Oct. 24, 1934 in Sioux City.

Mrs. Myren was a homemaker and former Tipton resident. She had resided in Wilton for the past 5 years. She was a past Worthy Matron O.E.S. and a member of Grace United Methodist church in Wilton.

She is survived by her husband, I. S., Wilton; 2 sons, Richard, Washington and Robert, Clarksville; a sister, Mrs. Richard (June) Erickson, St. Onge, S.D.; 3 brothers, Hiram T. Graves, Stockton, Calif.; Harold Graves, Midwest City, Okla. and Jack Graves, O'Neil, Neb.; 6 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
