Funeral services for Blanche Leinbaugh, 95, Clarence, were held Jan. 16 at the Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence with the Rev. Dolores Santos Sheets officiating. Mrs. Tom Levsen was the organist and Mrs. Roland Mingst was the vocalist. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Mrs. Leinbaugh died Jan. 13 at the Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. She had moved from Clarence to the home of her daughter near Packwood and entered the Parkview Care Center in September 1986.

The daughter of Charles and Jane Jeffrey Kent, she was born May 21, 1891 in rural Clarence. She married Walter Leinbaugh Feb. 12, 1913. He died in 1958.

The Leinbaughs lived on a farm 4 miles northeast of Clarence prior to moving into Clarence. Mrs. Leinbaugh was a member of the United Methodist church and Prairie Flower Aid.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. John (Edythe) Barlon, Newport Beach, Calif. and Mrs. Roy (Ruth) Mitchell, Packwood; a sister, Bessie Golden, Marion; a brother, Raymond Kent, Marion; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers and a sister.
