Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond (Grace M.) Wehde, 79, will be held at First United Church of Christ at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8 with the Rev. Robert Molsberry officiating. Burial will be in Woodbridge cemetery at Buchanan. Pallbearers are Carl Bair, Kenneth Jedlicka, Gilbert Behrens, Robert Schott, LaVerne Wood and David Swan. Mrs. Eleanor Swan is organist.

Mrs. Wehde died at Cedar Manor Jan. 3.

The daughter of Christopher and Christina Vittengl Achey, she was born in Linn township May 18, 1907. She attended the rural Cedar county schools and was married to Raymond Wehde at Muscatine June 3, 1926. A homemaker, she spent her life in the Tipton area.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Dale (Emogene) Stiff, Tipton and Mrs. Vernon (Joyce) McLearn, Mediapolis; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Ed Achey, Tipton and DeLois Achey, Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers.
