Funeral services for Mrs. Sherrill (Ethel) Dotson, 89, will be held at West Liberty at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31 with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will be Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty. Mrs. Dotson died at Cedar Manor Dec. 28.

The daughter of John and Nellie Poland Crees, she was born in Cedar county Aug. 21, 1897. She was a rural Cedar county school teacher before her marriage to Sherrill Dotson.

She was a 50 year member of the Rochester United Methodist church and a member of the West Liberty American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Dotson is survived by 2 sons, Glenn and Duane, both of West Liberty; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, a sister, a brother and a granddaughter.
