Funeral services for Oliver Werling, 64, were held at First United Church of Christ Dec. 19 with the Rev. Robert Molsberry officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Mr. Werling died at his home in Waseca, Minn. Dec. 15.

The son of Claire and Florence Vesta Collins Werling, he was born at Tipton Dec. 28, 1921. He graduated from Tipton high school in 1941. He married Darline LaRue in Tipton Jan. 2, 1943.

Mr. Werling was a sales representative at various locations including Iowa, Ohio and Minnesota, moving to Waseca in 1971 and worked as a representative for Todco Door Co. He later worked for Delta Body in Waseca and in motel management.

He is survived by his wife; 2 daughters, Mrs. Roland (Katherine) Nothdorf, Des Moines and Mrs. Lael (Carma) Tucker, Waseca; a son, Wallace, Waseca; 6 grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Helen) Pedersen, Upland, Calif. and Dorothy Shipley, Springfield, Ill.
