At her home, 211 Cedar street, shortly after none o'clock Saturday night, Mrs. Mary Peterson, wife of Rev. Peter Peterson, a retired minister of the Danish Lutheran church, passed away. Death was the result of heart trouble and dropsy from which she had suffered for a year past, and other complications. She was born in Denmark and at the time of her death was aged 70 years, 2 months and 22 days. Mrs. Peterson and her husband removed here about a year ago. She was for years a missionary and Sunday school worker in the city of Chicago and was always a consistent Christian woman. She leaves her husband, their only child, a boy, having died a number of years ago. She leaves an adopted daughter in South Dakota.

The funeral services will be held at three o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the late home, the Rev. W. S. Ritchie of the U. P. church officiating, and the interment will be made at Ludington, Mich., by the side of their son who is buried there. The remains will be shipped tomorrow night.
