MRS. MABLE WOOD, FORMER ATLANTIC WOMAN, DIES

Mrs. Mable Beckhart Wood, 70, of Winterset, form Atlantic woman, died there Tuesday, according to word received by relatives here. Mrs. Wood, in failing health four years, suffered a stroke several weeks ago.

She was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. A. D. Beckhart and was married to Charles F. Wood March 11, 1908. They lived in Cass county until 1945. Her father was a former pastor of the Atlantic Methodist church.

Mr. Wood died Sept. 29, 1945. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Otto Hendricks and two grand-daughters, all of Winterset and three brothers, Charles Beckhart of Draper, S. D.; George Beckhart of Sherwood, Ore., and Clarence Beckhart of Omaha. Mrs. Elmer Pellett of Atlantic is a sister-in-law of Mrs. Wood.

Funeral services will be held at Winterest Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Interment will be there.
