Dies In California

Lillie J. Crisman, 89, died
Saturday in a Riverside Cal. rest
home.

She was born Aug. 2, 1881 in
Lewis, Iowa. She was a resident of
Shelton from 1921 unitl 1942,
and had lived since then in
California.

She is survived by two sons,
Byron Crisman of Long Beach,
Cal. and Orlie Crisman of Anita,
Iowa, six daughters, Mrs. Maude
Teater, Peoria, Ill., Mrs. Laura
McKibben, Brayton, Iowa, Mrs.
Marjorie Jackson of Corning, Cal.,
Mrs. Coral Bare, Missoula, Mont.,
Mrs. Mary McLaughlin, Elis(si)nore,
Cal., and Mrs. Opal Wilson of
Shelton; a sister, Mrs. Mary
Berella, Akers, Iowa; 29
grandchildren; 66
great-grandchildren; and eight
great-great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 1
p.m. Friday in Batstone Funeral
Home with the Rev. Ed
Chamberlain officiating and burial
in Shelton Memorial Park.
