DONALD MARVYN ACKER, 27, Wiota farmer, was almost instantly killed about 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon when the farm tractor with which he was mowing weeds overturned in a ditch near his home a mile and three-quarters south of Wiota on County K. He was graduated from the Wiota high school in 1942 and was married to MARJORIE HAVENS BROWN at St. Joseph, Mo., Oct 3, 1948. He was a member of the Wiota Methodist church.
