The Adair News, Friday, Aug. 7, 1925:

The Anita-Adair band, which has the reputation of being on of the best bands in western Iowa, has been given the contract to furnish music for a big two-days celebration which will be staged at Manning on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 7 and 8. It is also quite likely they will give a concert at the summer resort at Wall Lake on Sunday, Sept. 6.
