ORIGINAL NOTICE.

A. W. Fay, plaintiff, against S. Fay, defendant,
in the district court of Cass county, Iowa, September term, A. D. 1878.
To said defendant:
You are hereby notified that there is on file in the office of the clerk of the district court of Cass county, Iowa, the petition of the plaintiff, asking that she may be divorced from you on account of your desertion of her.

You are also notified, that unless you appear thereto and defend, before noon of the first day of the September term A. d. 1878, of said District court of Cass county, to be held on the 2d of September, 1878, a default will be entered against you, and a decree entered as prayed.
