Miss Carmila [Camilla] Herbert and L. H. Laartz were united in marriage by Rev. Buckner of Wiota, at high noon yeserday [yesterday] before a pleasant company of the friends and near relatives of the happy couple at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mr. [Mrs.] John Herbert, near Wiota. The groom is a product of Pymosa township and one of Cass county’s rising young farmers, and it was while the bride was also a resident of that township that the acquaintance was formed which was the base of the present union. The groom is the owner of a fine farm, in Grove township where the house has already been provided for the bride and which will be their future home. Both young people have many friends in this city, who will join the Telegraph in extending hearty congratulations
