Mittie, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Johnson, died at the home of her parents in Scott township of tonsilitis on Thursday, September 1st, after a short illness. The child was born July 8, 1900, and was at the time of her death four years, one month and 23 days of age. The funeral was held from the home and the Danish Baptist church in Elk township on Friday, Rev. P. C. Larson having charge of the service. Interment was made in the Elk cemetery.
