William Elias Pearson, son of Benny Pearson and Margaret Campbell Pearson of Springfield Missouri, was taken to live in Jesup IA, following his mother's death at the end of the civil war. His father, Benny Pearson, disappeared, last seen in Jesup planning return to Missouri..
Wm. E. Pearson lived with his Aunt Caroline (Liney) Clark, maiden name Campbell, in Buchanan Co. from 1865 He married Phebe Mosher in Jesup IA 14 may 1876.
Need Info on Benny Pearson and Caroline Clark--maiden name Campbell married to James Clark of IA.
