If you wish to obtain a complete descendents study of a large family such as this you could compile the work yourself by going to sources like findagrave. As an example of one of these children substantial information is available as follows:
Michael Bernard Duffy

Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery
Fairbank, Fayette County, Iowa, USA

Michael Duffy, age 84 years, died at his home, 321 Almond street, at 10:30 p.m. yesterday, death being due to old age.
Mr. Duffy was the oldest of a family of 12 boys and three girls. Eleven brothers and one sister survive him. For 55 years he resided on a farm four miles south of Fairbank. The last few years the youngest son has operated the farm.
When he entered army service, the farm was rented and Mr. Duffy moved to Waterloo, last March.
Surviving are 12 children: James, reno Nev.; Mary and Margaret, at home; Dan, Dallas, S. D.; Gervase, Cinncinnati, O.; William, Waterloo; Mrs Theodore Myers, Flanders, S. D.; Mrs. Van Hooser, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Frank Determan, Nezperce, Ida.; Gerald, Waterloo; Walter, at home; and Carlos, who is in the medical corps, Camp Sheridan, Ala. The body is at the O'Keefe & Towne mortuary, pending funeral arrangements. Burial will be at Fairbank.
The Evening Courier and Reporter, Waterloo, Iowa Monday, October 14, 1918:
If you are looking for living descendants the task may be more difficult as there are several large Duffy families in NE Iowa and their members may be anywhere in the US.
