Hi, just found your site. My mother was Lucille Brooks,her afther was frank brooks from Cattarungus Cty, Little Valley area. farnks mother was a Drew. Now in my research, iwas told that Brooks and Drews were cousins, not uncommon at that time. Francillia Drew spent a;ot of time in Dunkirk, and several of her kids were born there. The family story is that the family has a hospital in dunkirk ( Brooks Memorial).I ve been trying to tie the families together, even visited Dinkirk and the hospital last june. contacted the hostorial society and just got a wad of not really helpful paper.
as For Horatio and family this is what I have

Horatio b1828 d 4-20-1887 dunkirk
married Julia Haggett b 1830 d 11-5-1896
Children
Ella m Alfred solano 11-4-1886 LA, Ca.had
dau, Jessie solano
Hattie m Frederick Stevens
