Many thanks! I visited his grave in summer,2010 with assistance from the local library who sent me cemetery map/info, also obit. Have at hand copies of both his pension and service records from NARA - I go there regularly. Also have a war-time photograph of him in uniform. I am looking for more information of his post-war days in Independence,IA. I am doing research on soldiers from Muncy PA and vets of the 84th PA.
