Brandon
Brandon Aug 16 -- Mrs Philo James Tracy at the age of 94 years, passed away quietly at the home of her graddaughter, Mrs Albert Wallace of Mt Auburn. She was born in Stillwater, Ohio. Later she moved to Indiana, then to Wisconsin, where she was married. In the year 1852 they came to Iowa and bought a farm about one mile west of Brandon, where she lived for 62 years. Mr Tracy died in 1901. For the last nine years she has lived with her granddaughter, Mrs Albert Wallace of Mt Auburn, and her grandson, Mr Gilbert Tracy of near Brandon. She died Sunday at midnight August 7, 1921. she leaves to mourn her absense, three sisters, one brother, one son, six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Picked Up In Passing
........Mr and Mrs W H Bahr, accompanied by Mrs C A Hayzlette. were at Mt Auburn Wednesday to attend the funeral service of Mrs Bahr’s aunt Mrs Susan Tracy, which took place from the M E church, Mrs Tracy was 94 years of age and had been a resident of Mt Auburn, Brandon and vacinities for 75 years. She was of a retiring nature and the later years of her life she seldom went away from home. Mrs Tracy is survied by one son, William Henry, Bridgeport, Neb.; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Rhoda Alberts, Brandon; Mrs Sadie Morton, South Dakota; Mrs C A Keihle, Des Moines; one brother Charles O’Neil, California.
