Charles M. Williams and Helen E. Williams are enumerated in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses in Dallas County, Iowa. The 1910 census states that they had been married 6 years (circa 1904); In 1910, he is a bookkeeper for the Chief Carpenter of the Railroad and in 1920 he is a clerk for the Steam Railroad. In 1930, he has no occupation. In none of the censuses, are children are listed.

There is a marriage of a Henry R. Alleman to Lena E. Elend on September 8, 1889 in Denison, Crawford County, Iowa.
