Raymond--Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday evening for Mathias Sadler in St. Joseph's Catholic Church here. Rev. Father Vallaster celebrated the requiem mass. Pall bearers were: John Junger, C. J. McMahon, P. J. Youngblut, Leonard Federspiel, Jacob Frost, and Val Frost. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Sadler was born in Braty, Luxembourg on Aug. 23, 1873, and passed away at his home here at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 21 days. Death followed a heart attack. He came to the United States in 1895 and married Miss Eva Frost at Gilbertville, IA on Oct. 16, 1901. To this union was born three sons, Nick, John, and William, who with their mother survive. There are seven grandchildren; three brothers, Nick, of Jesup, William of Dunkerton, and Peter in Luxembourg. Three sisters preceded him in death.
