MRS. KREMER LAID TO REST AT GILBERTVILLE WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Nick Kremer, 75, died Sunday evening at her home in Gilbertville from heart disease, which climaxed a ten-day illness due to a complication of ailments.

The funeral service was conducted Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church at Gilbertville with the Rev. William J. Cremer officiating. Pallbearers were six grandsons--Lawrence Kremer, Victor Kremer, Lewis Schmidt, Alfred Schmidt, Frances O'Connell, and Cleotes Kremer. Interment was made in the St. Mary's Cemetery. The nine sons and daughters were all present at the funeral with the exception of Mrs. A. B. Bullerdick, of Grand Junction. Mrs. Bullerdick visited at the home of her parents two weeks ago.

Mrs. Kremer was born Aug. 1, 1859, in Luxemburg, the daughter of John and Margaret Feck Scheiltz. Her marriage to Nick Kremer took place Jan. 24, 1880 at Welheit, Luxemburg. In 1886, they came to the United States and located on a farm near Jesup. They made Gilbertville their home for the past eighteen years. Mr. and Mrs. Kremer commemorated their golden wedding anniversary Jan. 24, 1930.

Surviving are her husband, five daughters and four sons; as named--Mrs. A. B. Bullerdick, Grand Junction, Colo.; Jacob Kremer, Tracy, MN; Mrs. George F. Mastellar, Winner, SD; John Kremer, Mrs. George F. O'Connell, Rt. 6, Waterloo; Mrs. Adam Schmidt, Matt Kremer, and Mrs. H. A. Schares, all of Jesup; and Nick Kremer, Jr., Independence. There are 48 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
