BARBARA FRANCES REUTER
Funeral services for Barbara Frances Reuter, 92, Evansdale, will be May 2, 11 a.m., at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Evansdale. Concelebrating the Mass will be the Rev. Lloyd E. Reuter, and homilist will be the Rev. Raphel Ludwig.
Offertory gifts will be presented by Mr. and Mrs. William J. Reuter Jr., and music will be by Laura Heit.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Raymond. Casket bearers will be her grandsons, Charles Reuter, Thomas Bawek, James Trebon, Craig Reuter, Larry Murphy and Ronald Trebon.
A rosary was held April 30, and another rosary will be held May 1, 3 p.m., and a parish scripture service at 8 p.m., at the White Funeral Home in Jesup.
Reuter died April 29, at her home. She was born Oct. 29, 1891, in Independence, the daughter of Jacob and Angeline Heinen Pint.
She married William J. Reuter in Raymond on Feb. 10, 1915, and was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Evansdale, and the St. Nicholas Altar and Rosary societies.
She worked for Powers Manufacturing, Waterloo, as a clothing inspector.
Survivors include her husband, William J. Reuter Sr., Evansdale; three sons, Irvin A., Waterloo, the Rev. Lloyd E. Reuter, St. Joseph's Rectory, Cresco and William J. Reuter Jr, Waterloo; three daughters, Marie Wilson, Rowley, Alma Bawek, Waterloo, and Marcella Murphy, Lytton; 28 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two daughters, two grandsons, six brothers and three sisters.
The White Funeral Home in Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
