Robert "Bob" Johnson, 92, formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, May 19, 2025, at Pinnacle Specialty Care. He was born February 4, 1933, in Ferndale, MI son of Harold and Mary (Baird) Johnson. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1951. On October 17, 1959, Bob married Marlene "Molly" Crum in Freeport, Il.

Bob worked as a brick mason, and then in sales at Garden of Memories Cemetery for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing and especially traveling with Molly. They took their first trip to Florida in 1960, and would spend many years vacationing there, several as snowbirds in St. Pete Beach. Bob was a member of the Elks in Waterloo, and Englewood, Fl.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Molly of Evansdale, his daughter Terri (Mark) Kelly of Hudson, grandchildren: Nick Kelly of Minneapolis, Mn, Jordan (Drew) Doland of Waterloo, Ben Kelly of Hudson, great-grandchildren, Oliver and Iris Doland, brother-in-law Marty Crum of Evansdale, and sister-in-law, Edie (Steve) Van Hauen of Waterloo.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the family
