Mrs. Angelia{?} Hildman, 72, of 425 Reber avenue, died at 7:10 a. m. Monday in her home of mesentery thrombosis.
She was born Dec. 25, 1877, at Edenburg, Germany the daughter of John and Angelia Gotto. The family moved to this country in her early childhood.
She was married to Louis J. Hildman on May 11, 1897, at Holy Cross, Ia. They moved to Ionia, Ia. in 1910 and she had lived in Waterloo since 1942. Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 11, 1947.
Her parents and one son also preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Raymond M., Marengo, Ia.; Leo H., St. Paul, Minn., and John L., 425 Reber avenue; and six daughters, Mrs. Leonard Leckteig, Greeley, Kan.; Mrs. Zimmer, Fairmont, Minn.; Mrs. Neil McDermott, 830 Fletcher avenue; Mrs. J. B. Cronin Waukon, Ia.; Mrs. Harry Kress, 702 Reber avenue, and Mrs. Milton Heitman, Marengo, Ia.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Jack Kontz, Lesmore, Minn.; Mrs. Mary Schmitz, 1101 Sycamore street; Mrs. Mathilda Speltz, New Hampton, Ia.; 31 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The body was taken to O’Keefe & Towne funeral home where the St. Edward’s Rosary Guild will recite the rosary at 7:30 p. m. Tuesday.
Rev. Fr. Richard Krapfl, assistant pastor of St. Edward’s Catholic church, will conduct requiem high mass at St. Edward’s at 9 a. m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Calvary cemetery.
