WATERLOO - Mary E. Wolf, 85, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at Allen Hospital of natural causes.

She was born June 8, 1921, in Patterson, daughter of Wyatt W. and Lucy D. Pace Pace. She married Adrian B. Carr on Sept. 17, 1942, in Oregon. He died Oct. 16, 1944, in Germany during World War II. She married Wilbur W. Wolf on May 25, 1946, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo. He died Dec. 17, 1994.

Survivors include three sons, William A. of Charles City, Chuck R. (Shirley) of Cedar Falls and Roger A. (Janet) Wolf of Waterloo; a daughter, Kathy A. (Jeff) Butler of Port Richey, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Truesdell of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by four brothers, Winston, Robert, Pat and George.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation 5 to 8 p.m. today at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
