WATERLOO - Mary Margaret Slutts, 88, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2006, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of renal failure.

She was born Nov. 1, 1917, in Mount Zion, daughter of Robert and Mary Lyon Moore. She married Theodore Slutts on Sept. 7, 1934, in Fairfield.

Mrs. Slutts graduated from Stockport High School.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Anthony (Ellen) Slutz of Indianapolis; three daughters, Mary Ann (Tom) Wilson of Atlanta, Nancy (John) Rollins of Waterloo and Carol (Bob) Rudkin of Boise, Idaho; 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by a son, Teddy; a brother, Robert Moore; and two sisters, Arlene Bottorff and Ruth Meyer.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service. Public visitation for an hour before services Wednesday at the chapel. Graveside services 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Douds.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
