CEDAR FALLS - Eulah Sloan Pingel Wyckoff, 91, or Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 23, 1923, in West Bend, daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth Williams Sloan. She married Marvin Pingel on April 13, 1946, in Cedar Falls; he died Jan. 10, 1976. On Oct. 30, 1976, she married Glenn Wyckoff in Waterloo; he died in 1989.

Eulah graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1941 and attended Iowa State Teachers College. She worked as a senior steel buyer for John Deere Tractor Works for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She then worked alongside Glenn in his Amway business until 1989. She went on to work as a weekend receptionist for 10 years for the Western Home Communities. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars for over 75 years as well as past president of the BT chapter of the TTT service organization.

Survived by a son, Tom (Cathy) Pingel of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Carol Palmer of Findlay, Ohio; a stepson, Larry (Barb) Wyckoff of Cedar Falls; a stepdaughter, Nancy (Dennis) Mausch of Fort Collins, Colo.; five grandchildren, Jim (Linda) Pingel, Carrie Rogers, Jennie (Justin) Hansel, Brent (Barb) Palmer and Elizabeth (Richard) VanAtta; 11 great-grandchildren, Samantha Zoll, Tahlor and Lane Palmer, Richard Jr., Nicholas, and Christopher VanAtta, Zachary Rogers, Harlie Pingel, and Emma, Evan and Eli Hansel; four stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son-in-law, Steve Palmer.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, with a 7 p.m. Order of the Eastern Star service. Visitation also an hour before services Thursday at church.

Memorials may be directed to the Western Home Communities, Cedar Valley Hospice or Shriners Hospital.
