NEW HARTFORD - Stephen "Dallas" Grandon, 57, formerly of New Hartford, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, in Martinez, Ga., of natural causes.

He was born July 9, 1950, in Cedar Falls, son of Nelson and Violet Grandon. He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years and later worked for telephone communications in various parts of the world.

Survivors include three sons: Tyler of Marietta, Ga., Kodi of Atlanta, Ga., and Kal of Martinez; his mother of New Hartford; a sister, Roma (Michael) Ries of Parkersburg; and a brother, Miles (Mary) of Kesley.

Preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Doug.

No services are scheduled and his body has been cremated.
