Forestine A. Bruns, 80, of Waterloo, died Thursday, April 19, 2001, at the Western Home, Cedar Falls, of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 18, 1920, in Dunkerton, daughter of Henry and Mabel F. Weigley Dos. She married Art Beckel on Aug. 30, 1942. He died Jan. 2, 1966. She married Dr. Henry C. Bruns on Oct. 28, 1967, in Nashua.

Survived by her husband; a son, Gregory Bruns of Waterloo; three daughters: Susan Heslop, Rebecca Marshall and Bella, all of England; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild; and a brother, Rodger Dos of Dunkerton.

Private family memorial services will be later, with burial in Garden of Memories. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball is in charge of arrangements.
