LaPorte City, March 6 - Mrs. Charles Carr was found dead in bed Saturday morning, having passed quietly away during the night without the least sign of suffering. Mrs. Carr had been afflicted by heart trouble for a number of years and her sudden death is attributed to that cause, as she had been in her usual health the day previous, caring for the home where she and her husband lived in the north part of town.

A daughter, Mrs. Celia Ellen Leddy, of Canada, died within the last few years. The two remaining children ware the daughter, Mrs. Julia McClure, Cedar Falls, and son, Everett Carr, Driscoll, N.D. Mrs. Carr was an ideal mother, friend and neighbor - one whose whole life was given to doing good.

Mr. and Mrs. Carr resided in this city for 14 years. Then they moved to Driscoll., N. D., where they remained for a number of years. When they gave up the active duties of farm life three years ago, they returned to this city to their home.
