Services for Wilfarene C. Sires, 73, of Waterloo, Iowa, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She died of natural causes Sunday afternoon, June 26, 1988, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was born November 13, 1914, in Traer, Iowa, daughter of Henry and Susan (Duffy) St. John. She married Floyd L. Sires on January 28, 1950, in Sioux City, Iowa. He died in 1978.

Survivors include three sons, Levi of Clarksville; Dean and Jerry, both of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Al, Bob and Ed St. John, all of Waterloo; and a sister, Genevieve Lellig of Waterloo.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at O'Keefe & Towne-Carter & Waychoff Funeral Home, where a rosary and Scripture service will be at 7 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the church.
