Local Man Receives
Large Order For Honey

Roy Littlefield, received an order
this week for 60,000 pounds of
honey to be supplied to an Iowa
grocery company. Delivery of a
third of the order is to be made
this week and the balance will be
delivered later.

At present Roy has between 800
and 900 colonies of bees scattered
throughout this territory. Work
of extracting the honey started
the middle of August.

Parents of Royal Seth "Roy" Littlefield (1890-1961) were Alonzo Follansbee Littlefield and Sarah Edwards.
